Where it all began…
After being a stay at home Mum since the age of 21 and 4 children later, as my youngest grew older and i wasn’t in the haze of sleepless nights and arguing with children about the wrong shape I'd just cut their sandwiches in, even though this is what they’d requested yesterday (you get the picture, we’ve all been there right?) i started to really feel the need to reclaim MY identity and do something outside of being a mum, but still fit in with my daily routine of being a mum & wife whilst nourishing my passions and interests at the same time. With this Alesha’s Culinary Soiree was born in 2016.
I’ve always been creative (I’m often told this is a common trait being left-handed ha ha) loved cooking and fashion and my talent for home organisation is the result of hours of sitting on the couch watching various shows on cooking and home organisation whilst feeding my babies over the years.
Alesha’s Culinary Soiree started out as a humble little Facebook group that has organically grown over the years due to simple word of mouth and I am so proud of this. I wanted to create a place where people could come together (a bit like our Nanna’s used to) and share recipes and ideas with each other and showcase the meal we had spent hours preparing and proudly put on the dinner table that night
and the family barely bats an eyelid haha!! Well on Alesha’s Culinary Soiree, I wouldn’t mind if my members posted Vegemite toast, it's all about the interaction and supporting each other.
Did I mention I absolutely LOVE fashion?!
Over the past few years, I often get messages asking what I’m wearing, fave skincare, makeup etc ... so, this is why I’ve decided to rebrand and create aleshapemberton.com as this makes my content even MORE exciting!!! I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot being able to work doing everything I absolutely love!!!!
