This dish is prepared using the Thermomix Varoma (steam tray) but you can always use a Steam Oven if you have one, or just bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the flesh is white and is no longer translucent. Also, I have made these on the BBQ, and they are just as amazing. All the flavour is in the garlic butter, so the cooking method won’t change how quick and tasty these are. I like to buy one half per person, but you can do as many as you like. The garlic butter will do 4-6 crayfish. So, double it if you are making more.
4 x Raw Crayfish Tails (Serves 8) – Split in half
1L Water
150g Salted Butter – room temp
2 Tsp of Lightly Dried Parsley (located in cold section of supermarket)
Pinch of Salt
5 Cloves of Garlic Crushed
